After having a cancelation for a charter last night, deiced with the weather forcast there was no way I was going to pass up fishing,
Called Melissa to get her out for another chance at boating some stripers.Made bait easily on one of the pods and headed a little south were some friends had fish earlier working 15 pods along the way till I got a call to look south at was coming towards us, started to heard south when the fish finder lit up like a christmas tree, As soon as the baits hit big bass swirled and crushed the baits.Melissa hooked up first and my bait was quickly also railed. Boated my bass which had a 12/0 treble snag deeply imbedded in its gills, tried to revive it but attempts were futile. Boated melissa's bass and continued to try and revive mine. When it couldnt be done made a move back north onto the pod catching three more nice bass and called it a night.Nice 2 hours on the water
