3 generations sea bass 6-26

Had 3 genarations of the K'Beck family out for an afternoon of sea bassing yesterday.Ryan origonally had wanted to get his dad Bob and son Tyler out for a striper trip, but with the warming water temps and inconsistant ocean bite we elected to sea bass.Headed south out of the inlet in flat seas, which changed as we got below MI as the south winds started howling.Picked our way to the reef, setting up on good marks, with 5 year old Tyler catching the first sea bass, Folled up By Bob catching a small cod.Had non stop action with mostly sub legal sea bass the rest of the afternoon, making a couple moves, all having alot of life on them.Caught enough keepers for a meal or two before deciding to head in early as Tyler was getting a little green from the Building SE swells.Fun trip seeing Grandfather, Father and Son enjoying a fun day fishing.

Stripers 6-19

had Joe Mavica and his Brother inlaw Charlie on board to do some liveling. After making bait early we headed north to where we saw the most bait around noon,First hit happened on top at the rocks, big tail slap then when Joe set the hook the 13+ foot thresher came airborn, did a couple more jumps then went deep. Joe worked him almost to the boat before the thresure broke the line.Caught a big blue that had a HUGE striper chasing it trying to take the bait out of its mouth.Got a call that fishing was Blowing up south so we headed there as quick as the building seas would let us, with Joe catching a nice bass there , and a couple more misses before heading in at sunset

NIce bass 6-11

Had my regular Pensy group of Brad ,Barry, and Barry last night, and they Brought along Dave to break his striper cherry. Made bait easy with one toss of the net just outside the inlet, and headed south, worked south all the way to the Ferris wheel without seeing much . Set up on a pod of bunker that had decent bird life on it, and Dave's bait gets crushed. He sets the hook and brings in a nice 41 pounder breaking his striper cherry. But the report ends there, even while seeing decent marks, we couldnt get another bite. Stopped on some good reads heading back north but it just didnt happen.

BIG Bass 6-10

Had Steve, Smidrow, Kyle and Trinity on board tonight to do some live lining.Trinity came all the way from Wyoming on Steve's jesture to put him into a big striped bass.Had secured a cooler of bunker in case there was trouble getting them Last night and had them on Ice to chunk if need be.Got the call from Captain Rich that he had got on bunker thick by our inlet and to just head out as he had plenty of livies on board, (THANK YOU)got another call to HURRY UP as it was on fire south of the inlet, so we beat feet and got down south, Threw on some fresh dead livies and Instantly had fish on , did the first drift and Got the Livies from Capt Rich and moved further south into BIG schools of busting bass some pushing into the mid 40# range.Guys got to beat on them hard , and a couple bigger bass were caught on top waters, watching half a dozen bass crashing the lure.Super fun night amist all the weather changes , the harder it rained the harder the bass chewed.Wish they all were this easy to have a super trip.

Stripers 6-02

Only had 1 call for todays open boat, but told Craig I would take him as I wanted to fish tonight also. Headed out the inlet and got greeted with the pleasant sight of bunker in front of the inlet. Made bait quick and moved a little south to fish. Had 5 bass on the first drift before boat traffic shut them down. A move North produced another 3 before the fog came in, and we headed in early. All 8 bass were released to fight another day.
