6-25 few for dinner

Headed out with Tracey to fluke this morning.
bounced all over looking for a drift.
no matter where we went , boat hardly moved.
Only a few shorts and two for the cooler. enough for fresh fish dinner tonight.

Stripers

finally got out to try and catch some bass with Steve tonight.
Ocean was like a desert. very little bait as we made our way north.
Got some intel to push  further north, as their had been a decent bite.
after seeing a building fleet, I could see bunker getting slammed from all over.
Got to catch my fish on pencil poppers.
 was cool to see the big bass feeding on top

Slow fishing 6-11

Headed out with Tracey and Eddie this morning.
Hit a few spots to try and sea bass , had a party boat try and bully me off one of them. .
He finally gave up.

Sea bassing where we were yesterday was a cluster of shorts, so we went to try some fluking.
Had about a dozen shorts for the few keepers we put in the box. still a nice day out.
fishing can only get better

Headed out with Steve and Tracey today to do some sea bass fishing.

LOTS of fish around.

decided we were only keeping 14" or larger fish today.

Probably threw back 5 limits to keep 22 larger fish
