Headed out to do some fluking with Craig and John after getting my T Top welded this morning. Heard the AM bite was very good and was hoping the outgoing would be good also this afternoon. But it def wasnt for us. We bounced around hitting a bunch of different spots both bucktailing and dragging baits in the ruff stuff, caught alot of fluke but 95% of them were an inch short. We all ended up catching some nice fish but def far from a good catch , still an enjoyable day with good friends

Fun trip 7/2
Headed out this afternoon with John planning on doing some fluke fishing for a change of pace.
Saw a few good pods of bunker as we headed north and I threw the net for some strip baits.
Seeing the bunker moving fairly quickly inshore I knew there had to be something on them , and when we pitched a couple baits in they were hit pretty quick and we started to pull on some nice July stripers until a couple of boats saw us taking a picture and had to keep running the schools over shutting down what was a very good bite. Made our way north to the rocks talked to a friend who had been doing pretty good bucktailing, we started to catch a few shorts but the south wind started honking and we could see it was going to not be the easy relaxing afternoon we had wanted.fished a few hours with just 2 keepers making it into the cooler.

Iced Tea stripers 6/27
Had the Strohls gang out tonight, plan was to striper fish but seeing how discolored the ocean was and lack of bait we headed back in very early, instead of wasting everyones night.I thought yesterdays algae bloom looked bad but today it definetly looked like iced tea out there. back at it once the water starts to clear

Striper Blues 6/26
Had Greg,Shannon,Amanda, and Morgan out tonight . When Greg called to book the charter all he said was that he wanted his daughter to catch a big striper. We made bait just south of our inlet, and headed north to where we had been catching good the last few trips. Only seeing one good pod of bunker the whole way to the rocks, and the water stained bad from an algea bloom didnt look good. They caught a bunch of blues but only had a few legit bass run offs that didnt come tight.Everyone stayed at the rail fishing hard and making the best of all the bites looking for one in striped pajamas, but only finding demons in blue suits.I cant wait to get them back out again to try and redeam tonight

Another good night of striper fishing 6/25
Had John , Mike and Dan on board for an open boat striper trip.
Made bait and headed north looking for fishable marks on a giant pod of bunker , not finding any hit a bunch of rock piles waiting for the tide to change. Picked up a bunch of blues and 1 striper.Headed back to the big bait schools and found bass crashing bunker for over a half mile.
fished that pod to ourselves for about a half hour till some other boats brought the crowd with them.Moved away from the fleet twice and continued to pick away at the bass.
Mike boating the biggest bass with some help from his dad at 36 pounds
Stormy stripers 6/24
Had Craig, Allie, Bryan, Mike and Rob out last night.Had just a small window where the fog lifted and some wicked thunderstorms coming in. But the stripers wanted to chew and this crew did real well boating a bunch of fish quick. 13 year old Allie stole the show not only boating the first bass, but also the biggest at 32 pounds, and also was the first to land her limit showing the guys how its done.
