BUNKER SPOON BEAUTY 5/11

Had Mike, his GF Chrissy , and Jimmy tonight. bait was very spread out and we elected to troll bunker spoons. was a good night with our biggest going 46 pounds 14 ounces on the digital 

Slow livelining 5/7

Had Tom , Keith , Bruce and Brian out for bass tonight. was making bait when got a call from bowguide he was heading in and had a bunch of bunker left, which he handed off to us ( Thanks Scott ) . Moved out to deeper water where they had a decent chew during the day to, find a few sharks finning and not many bass marks. 

Saw some birds working south and as we pulled up a BIG fin came out of the water, then the tail. we drove over by it , and as we moved towards it  it started to swim feet off the starboard side. It was by far the biggest shark I have seen. had to be 16-17 foot and 3 foot top to bottom . 

It could care less we were within feet of it. 

Made a move north to fish some structure and we immediatly had four run offs,but that action was short lived. we boated 2 bass there and had a handful of slow run offs, when I got the call from Capt Fred , to head back to where we had just left as a good flurry was going on.. 

bass had split the schools of bunker up . but didnt get any thing looking at our livies, switched to trolling picking up a third bass before calling it a night 

STUPID FISHING 4/29

Had Dan, Mark ,Vince and Chris out tonight. Was just stupid bassing on jigs tonight. as long as we could keep some space between us and some boats out there tonight , we were able to have long drifts with constant action all night.
Mark broke his striper cherry with some nice bass ( but was a little camera shy) LOL.
Lost count very early in the afternoon how many bass were boated , with multiple 3 and 4 fish hook ups.

Guys kept their limit plus 2 bonus fish , releasing all the bigger fish

Had Greg, Pete ,Derek and Derek's father out tonight to bass. made bait just north of the inlet  and bounced around a bunch of local snags. Had about a dozen run offs with Pete coming tight on our only bass tonight. Bass would pick up the baits three/four times but not commit to eating them. Alot less life tonight than we have been seeing except for Dolphins, seemed they were everywhere we looked. 

Silly striper fishing 4/28

was out tonight with Steve and his son David.
Made bait just north of the inlet, but it really wasnt needed today as jigs outfished live bait 5 to 1. But still managed to use a livewell full, as the bass bite was just silly.
most of the fish tonight were 10-14 pounds but Steve did catch one that was right around the 30 pound mark.

all fish released except 2 31" fish they kept for the grill.

more liveline limits 4/20

Had Brad, Dale, George and Stan out tonight. Tried making bait early but it was really skittish and moving fast , so started off trolling . with no takers and boat traffic dying down , headed back to the bait pods and floated the first throw with the cast net filling the wells.
Moved off the bait and set up a little deeper , getting hits right away, game on . Dale was the first to box his limit , with Brad right behind him, George and Stan took a little to get used to the liveline game but hung in there and boxed their first limit of stripers.
made a move north after getting word their was a good top water bite going on , and played catch and release with some more bass and bluefish .
was def a nice night , way different than forcasted

LIVELINING crush 4/19 Bass to over 43 pounds

Had Mike and Tom back out tonight with Keith what a difference a day makes .Tons of bunker around and made made pretty easy. moved away from the boats on the bunker schools and fished some local structure by ourselves and found the bass there waiting and HUNGRY. had a super pick of bass up to Toms 43 pound 4 oz hog.(RELEASED)

made a few more stops on other pieces and found bass waiting on those too . ended the night jigging for a bunch more bass. guys caught well over 50 bass tonight , and it made up for last nights slow one/ not alot of pics tonight as I got in some fishing also
