After getting home from the Bahamas yesterday to warmer weather than we had there I uncovered the boat, and got everything ready to try the back bay today.Matt and I hit four early season spots, fishing each spot for an hour without a bump. boat ran good after its short winter nap
Got boarded back at the ramp by DFGW, the CO was very polite, checked the boat quick and asked for the Salt water registry cards.showed him them and he was off to the next boat.Nice to see they are already in force for the new season
.Looking forward to the spring fishery and the new year

FISHERMAN march on Washington
Talked my Buddy Capt Rich into making the run down to washington with me on the BT bus, joining over 3000 other fisherman.
Def was worth making the run down there,Seeing alot of solid support from people who really care.Hearing about how they want to implement catch shares in the next 120 days also shows why there is a trend to stop fishing in entirety, so those who high bid for the fish will be the only ones enjoying our oceans.Much bigger picture was brought to light yesterday.
Glad everyone had a safe day going to and from the rally.

COME ON SPRING
Im sure just like everyone else I have had enough of this snow already, and cant wait for spring to arrive.
Looks like we will be running out of Shark River this year so that the runs to the Striper grounds are faster.
Looking forward to having another super year live lining for BIG stripers.
Charters are starting to fill up for the prime dates, so give a call soon to book a date to try for your personal best Linesider
