Decided no sense in sitting home on a nice day with my toothache, headed down to meet Jimmy at the boat to do some blackfishing. Got to the reef around 1130 and it was PACKED . picked a spot away from the crowd , caught one keeper, then nothing, moved 4 times with the same results. add a keeper, couple shorts , but couldnt get a steady bite. we kept four keepers to just under 8 pounds. Heading home between the channels there was tons of bluefish smashing sand eels on top, we watched the sunset as we fought blue after blue on light tackle.
