made our way to where we had fish last night , took a little while for the guys to get used to snag and drop fishing , and how to keep pressure on the bait to get a strike and to keep the bass hooked by not pumping the rod , and they ended up catching some really nice bass to Dukes 44 pounder.
The girth on that bass was bigger than any bass I have seen over 50 pounds, but it was short and all shoulders , looked more like a hybrid than a striper.
Thanks to all those serving and those who have given their lives, to allow us to enjoy days like today in peace and safty
